W. Charles Sipio
Before founding Sipio Law P.C., Mr. Sipio was a partner at a boutique employment litigation firm in the Philadelphia area. One of his primary goals in establishing the firm was to provide clients with the individualized attention they deserve during difficult times.

Mr. Sipio is a seasoned litigator whose practice centers on employment discrimination, serious personal injury, and civil rights matters—including excessive force and other constitutional claims.

Over the course of his career, he has handled hundreds of cases in both federal and state courts, representing employees, whistleblowers, and victims against companies of all sizes throughout the United States. Mr. Sipio frequently advocates for individuals who have suffered discrimination or faced retaliation for engaging in protected activities, such as reporting workplace misconduct.

He has significant experience representing whistleblowers under the federal False Claims Act (FCA), including qui tam actions, as well as under the Pennsylvania Whistleblower Law, the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA), the New Jersey False Claims Act, and other related statutes. His practice also includes representing oppressed minority shareholders in disputes involving closely held companies.

In addition to employment matters, Mr. Sipio has litigated a wide range of complex cases, including those involving serious personal injury, civil rights, commercial disputes, legal malpractice, and wrongful death. Notably, he served as co-counsel in an Eighth Amendment prison death case that resulted in the highest civil rights settlement in Pennsylvania in 2015, as reported by The Legal Intelligencer. His work has earned him consistent recognition on the Pennsylvania “Rising Stars” list by Super Lawyers (Thomson Reuters) from 2014 through 2025.

Beyond litigation, Mr. Sipio provides strategic advice to clients navigating difficult legal challenges, helping them avoid court when possible. He believes many issues can be addressed proactively and routinely counsels clients on their legal options to prepare for the future. Mr. Sipio has represented individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and professions, and he stresses the importance of consulting an experienced attorney before problems escalate.
